The story of LoopHood starts with a single moment of need and evolved into a mission to transform communities.
Pregnant with my first child, broke, exhausted, and wishing I could afford a cleaning lady. That moment sparked something bigger: what if people could exchange help instead of buying it?
Created a Facebook group called X-Service. Within 11 hours, 293 people joined and immediately began trading services: babysitting, cleaning, errands. I was one of them. It worked.
Deniz was born. The need for support, flexibility, and trusted neighbors became even more real. This wasn't a side idea. This was survival.
I had three kids, no village, and no energy. I enrolled in school to rebuild my career. Hated the rigid system. Realized I'm not meant to comply — I'm built to create.
Started building the platform from scratch using AI. I was obsessed. I added tipping ($GOT), trust gamification, rental logic. It stopped being a project — it became a mission.
LoopHood was no longer just about services. I needed something bigger. I hunted domains for 3 days straight. The only name that made sense, that felt like home, was LoopHood.
While researching how Airbnb scaled, I found Y Combinator. I applied that night. Missed the summer batch deadline by two days. Still charging forward.
Launched Loop Partners — hyperlocal businesses offer exclusive deals using LoopHood loop. Loopers earn loop by helping others, and spend it at local shops and services in the Loop Shop.
Filed for trademarks including LoopHood, $GOT, and OfferGo. Protected core systems for trust, tipping, and exchange so the vision can scale safely.
